Router connection to internet drops constantly

Internet connection has been dropping continuously for the last 10 days.   Xfinity outage map showed an outage at my home but no where else in my area.

Tried multiple recommendations to resolve the issue. Went to Verizon store last Monday and received a replacement shrink-wrapped (not in a box as expected) Xfinity WiFi gateway.  Scheduled a service Technician visit at the same time.  Service Technician spent a time checking everything and didn’t find any issues that might be causing the problems.

Service continues to drop.  The only way I can connect is to power off and wait for hours!

I see so many other posts with this same type of issue.

Please investigate and resolve asap!!!

user_rm6zx0 - Thank you for your feedback and for joining us here on the Xfinity Forums. We appreciate you taking advantage of our self-service tools to check your account status. Keeping our services accessible, reliable, and performing at their best is more important than ever, and our Technology and Engineering teams work around the clock to support network operations and maintain service reliability. The best way to receive updates about interruptions in your area is by checking your account status through the Xfinity Status Center or the Xfinity app. You can also text OUT to 266278 (COMCST) to receive service interruption updates.

Tip: Save 266278 to your contacts for quick access to Xfinity text commands.

Please note that message and data rates may apply.

When you check your account status, does it still indicate that you're impacted by a service interruption?
