Roku thinks I’m in another TV market

I live on the border of 2 TV markets.  Roku thinks I live in the Quad Cities Illinois even though my home is in the Chicago TV market.  Other streaming services think I live in the Peoria Illinois market..My research with this issue has led me to believe that when I connect to Xfinity internet Im connecting to a server located in the next county which is a few miles away..The upshot of this situation is that I’d prefer to watch Chicago local channels, not Quad City or Peoria locals…Help..

Hey there, user_60ggjg! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. There are specific connection/routing points for the Internet in the area, and we are unable to move/route them to a different location. The connection point is determined for the best connection, and stability. We can certainly document the feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve our experience.
