Reset gateway after activating new gateway
Just disconnected old gateway, connected new one and activated it. Cannot find instructions on how to delete info from old gateway and do a factory reset so I can return it. It is not connected to anything. Thanks.

Plug it into the A.C power outlet (don't plug in the coax cable). When it powers up, reset it to factory defaults by pressing and holding in the recessed reset button on the rear (or use the WPS button if it doesn't have a reset button hole) for 25-30 seconds.

That's not it. It should be something like XB6, XB7, XB8.

Ok that's an XB7. It's on the rear panel above the ports. It's a combination reset button and WPS button.
