Request to see if there’s a firmware update ?

I was curious l remember long time ago oh I would say 6 or 8 years ago maybe more you could post your cable
Modem / gateway model current firmware then a Comcast tech would check to see if there was any firmware updates for you and push the update to your modem does Comcast/Xfinity techs still do that on here anymore or no ?!?

It's automatically checked whenever your modem or gateway reboots. There are occasional times where there is some Beta testing and they may push it out to certain users, but that is rare.

What's making you ask about firmware ? Are you having any issues ?
