Request for Removal of Unused Utility Pedestals and Boxes in Village Shires

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to bring attention to the numerous utility pedestals and boxes located throughout the Village Shires development, including Canterbury Court where I live.

There appear to be quite a few that are no longer in use. Many of these pedestals and boxes are unsightly, severely weathered, lopsided, or falling apart. They detract from the appearance of the community and, in some cases, appear to have been abandoned for quite some time.

I would respectfully ask that the appropriate utility company or responsible party inspect these installations and determine which ones are still in service. Those that are no longer needed should be removed, and the remaining equipment should be properly repaired, secured, or maintained.

Ideally, I would like to see the obsolete pedestals and boxes throughout Village Shires removed altogether. This would greatly improve the appearance of our community and eliminate what are currently very unattractive structures scattered throughout the development.

I appreciate your time and consideration of this matter. I hope the appropriate party will take the time to inspect these installations and address those that are no longer necessary.
