re-provisioning

I am receiving the same error from my router - Your ISP's DHCP is not functioning properly - as @rraman did a few months ago when trying to connect online.

I can connect online when connecting directly to the cable modem, but not when the router is connected. There have been no changes in either modem or router settings when this happened and I have already restarted and reset both modem and router multiple times to no avail.

I saw that a re-provisioning from @ComcastChe solved the problem for @rraman and another person with a similar issue, and was wondering if the same could be done for my account.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

I don't know if @ComcastChe or someone else already did a reprovisioning or not, or if I was just experiencing a temporary glitch, but I'm happy to report that the connection is back up now.

Thanks!

The error probably stems from a misconfiguration on you router. See if the problem persists after a factory reset on said router... If it absolves itself, then you know.

I know the answers pretty basic, but its pretty solid as troubleshooting piece of advice.
If you are really attached to the settings youve made on the router, it should have an option to save then (may require a USB memory stick). But again try thr default factory settings.

(I had the same error come up after provisioning, I'm all up now)

I need help with the same issue - tried several things on my side but I don't think it's me (this time).

@ComcastChe can you message me?

I have been experiencing the same issue since an outage in my area earlier this morning. After many soft and hard reboots and "refresh signals" from the Xfinity app, I have intermitten connections.

My ASUS router will work after multiple power cycles and hitting the "MAC Clone" option in advanced features, but resolves to "Your ISP's DHCP is not functioning properly" message after 30mins-1hr.  I have spoken to two reps and the issue is still present. I asked for a "provisioning signal" to be sent but the 2nd rep stating that it did not reach my modem?

@ComcastChe is there anyway that you can help to roll and reprovision my modem then confirm with me that what you see is correct?

Does @ComcastChe respond? Cause I am having the exact same issue and they want to send a tech out to check wiring.... it isn't wiring. They seem confused when I try to get them to do more than tell me to power cycle.
