Replaced Gateway - now can’t find WiFi on some devices

In need of some help please.

Our Gateway went “out” last week and was replaced by an Xfinity tech.

I can get WiFi now on my iPhone, surface, and other devices - but not on my laptop. I can’t see the network and I can’t manually add it. Very odd.

Things I’ve tried- checking my drivers, restarting my gateway and laptop, searching for the WiFi address, etc.

I’m working from home this week so any quick replies would be greatly appreciated!

Try separating your wireless networks?

Try going to your device manager on your laptop, network, click on your WiFi card, advanced options, where it says mode, if it says auto, set it to G, that works for some folks
