Remove or Edit a Port Forward
So, apparently this has been an issue for years now since Xfinity decided to take away the ability to use the Admin Tool for port forwards and force the use of the App to do it. Here is the problem, which hundreds of others have posted about, to which there is STILL no solution:
When attempting to delete or edit a current port forward, the port needing to be edited or deleted is tied to ''No Associated Device'' on the App. Other devices with port forwards are working fine and can be edited or deleted as needed. However, this SPECIFIC port number, tied to the device showing as ''No Associated Device'', cannot be edited or deleted within the App. When editing it, the apply button is greyed out, when trying to delete the port forward, ''delete this port forward'' does nothing.
It HAS to be an issue with it being tied to No Associated Device.
Everyone here with this issue has wasted hours of their time with ''Tech Support'' who has no idea how to deal with this problem. They continually give the instructions on how to add or delete a port forward, which we all already know how to do, or they tell you to PM them and then close the topic for further comments, and still no resolution via PM, because apparently, no one at Xfinity knows how to allow the deletion of an item listed in your connected devices that isn't actually connected.
This is beyond infuriating. The fact we are forced to use this garbage app for a simple thing we should be able to use the Admin tool for is absolutely ridiculous. IF you all at Xfinity cannot figure out how to properly program the app to allow for these changes then you should PUT THE ABILITY BACK INTO THE ADMIN TOOL. This isn't a hard concept.
FIX YOUR APP AND QUIT TREATING US LIKE WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT.

Hello Utildai, we apologize for the frustration you are having with this process. Your satisfaction and confidence is always our goal. I included a great link below for reference on the policies related to port forward on an xFi and personal routing system. This would be a great reference on steps and options using a personal system.
