Rebooting router
My internet keeps disconnecting everyday. Sometimes it comes back automatically but most of the time I have to disconnect my router and restarted it. One time I lost service and my friends car got broken into and i couldn't see what happened because I had to internet service. I have an old router from xfinity since 2015. I don't know if it needs upgrading.....

Hi there, @Ggirl786! You are at the right place for help with the internet service. I am sorry to hear it has been acting up and will get to the bottom of this! It sounds like you may be having timeouts occur. This is usually caused by an issue along the coaxial wire inside or outside of your home. Do you have any splitters between the modem and coaxial cable wall outlet? Is the coaxial wire without damage and finger tight at the back of the modem and at the coaxial wall outlet?
