Reboot modem remotely

Xfinity says there is an outage at our home.  I can’t get support because of this.  However, our neighbor who has Xfinity has service for several hours after the outage and our ID shows up as online on the network list.


Im out of the area.  How do I reboot the modem remotely?

You can restart the modem remotely using the Xfinity App, but if it's not online, it won't reboot.
