Re: What does it take to get faster upload speeds?

apparently the picture works fine in the post, just doesn't appear - anyway he gets 177 Mbps in Zacatecas Mexico (and why are we measuring speeds in bits instead of bytes).

my buddy working from home in a smaller town in Mexico - his ping time isn't the greatest but is irrelevant when he gets 10 times the upload speed.

I don't know what you said either! 😀

But I do know that if you want >177Mbps up from Comcast, you need their Gigabit Pro service (only available in some locations.)

Communications speeds are traditionally measured in bits.  Storage capacities are traditionally measured in bytes. Oh and then there is the question of whether Mega means 10^6 (most disk makers) or 2^20 (most RAM makers.)
