Re: New XB7 but lost the use of Philips Hue Bridge

I am on my 4th gateway - 2 xb6 and now 2 xb7 .  The ethernet ports wil intermittently disable, which brings most of my house offline.  I have a Netgear Gb switch, which has been working well.  I got the new XB7, plugged my Hue bridge locally, and my switch into one of the other ports - testing both 1GB and 2.5GB ports.    After not too many minutes - ethernet ports die, and I can not even ping the router.   Wifi still works though.   I am currently testing the system without the Hue Bridge.   I will reply with my findings.    I think I can move my Hue Bridge to the switch.
