Re: MoCA adapter and Comscope AC adapter
According to Commscope, the CSMAPDU9VP has a built-in MoCA PoE filter, so do I need to install a second one at the point of entry? And on this topic, I installed a CSMAPDU9VP becuase my splitter didn't have enought outputs. So I removed the splitter and installed the Commscope amplifier. At that point I had good TV and internet signal to all coax connections in the house, but the main X1 box stopped communicating with the X1 satellite box. When I went back to just a simple splitter, the X1 boxes talked to each other again. It occurred to me that there might already be a PoE filter on the incoming cable - and that might be somehow interfering with the CSMAPDU9VP. Would love it if you could venture a thery on this. Thanks a lot!!
