Re: Frequent 30 second outages
I am having the same issue. I have the following logs on the firewall and not sure if its the same issuew but having the same symptoms. Internet checks out for 30 seconds, back in, then out 30 seconds, then stable, then hours later, ping requests are back to long response times and dropped packets. My firewall logs are below and I have ping reports for my gateway and google DNS. I've had at least 6 technicians out and have cell phone numbers for two supervisors. everything has been replaced, sometimes twice, from the pole to inside my house. No one can fix the issue. Can someone please help?

In hopes of this thread getting any attention, I'm in the exact same place with the same issues. I had a tech out who replaced all the wiring, I've been through 5 different modems and 3 routers in the past 3 weeks, all with the exact same issue. Support and techs tell me they can't do anything because the issue isn't happening while I have them around.
If anyone has any info to help with this I'd be eternally grateful. At this point I'm thinking of just dropping xfinity altogether.
For refernce my logs and numbers are below (this is a rare moment of semi-stability after a number of disconnects, which I assume are related to the MDD message timeouts):

I have been having this problem since I switched to the new Xfi modem. I recently updated in the last week and still have these problems. My numbers are similar to the previous post here. This is maddening. Every single day I lose connection to video conferences. I hope someone will see these responses and do something.

I guess it's a little comforting to know that this is a common issue. My neighbor is having the same symptoms. Funny this is, the second to last tech actually told me that given the issues, he recommended moving to AT&T to fix the problem. LOL. Another tech was here yesterday and I gave him all the information, which shows that wifi is clearly blocking traffic, creating latecy delays and packet losses, basically making my video calls unusable. He said that Xfinity will not recognize an issue when it is related to wifi, that they need to see the issue on a wired connection. Based on that, I've given up and ordered AT&T today. It's a much lower speed but a lower speed that works is better than any speed that doesn't.

Might be opening myself up to shenanigans but I don’t know.
