Re: Constant intermittent internet outages for weeks
I am experiencing the same problem here is Stafford Virginia, it seems to happen at roughly the same time, around 9 /10am. and 4/5 pm. The technicians have verified that there is nothing wrong with the cables. I have been through 3 new modems and we can rule them out, they are not the problem

We have been doing what you recommend for 5 weeks now and that has not helped.
We have been informed that the issue is most likely with the node, and technicians cannot do anything about that and supervisors can help, the nodes might need replacing/upgraded and more need to be added to help with the load as they are all over capacity and cannot handle the volume.
The node on which my particular service is coming from appears to be where the problem is.
There is nothing a customer can do, a customer cannot schedule that to be fixed.
We have had this problem for over a month, many hours on the phone + support chat, 3 service technicians at my home and all that did not help.
In short Comcast/Xfinity says you are on your own.

EXACTLY! They say that becuase we dont have one of their modems! They told me my brand new modem was bad and the problem. I have a neighbor that has the same problems, he went out and bought 3 brand new, different brand, modems. All of them are having the same problem.............
