Random Packet Loss
Hello,
I've been experiencing an intermittent issues with packet loss for the last six months, it's really noticeable during gaming and streaming.
Today, I checked the downstream signals and noticed remarkably high power levels for some of my downstream channels (screenshot attached). A tech paid a visit on 1/2/25 and said that the power levels needed adjustment, so they added a 2-way cable splitter. However, the issue still persists, I am suspecting there might be a grounding problem occurring somewhere after the router, though I'm not entirely sure.
Could someone advise on the next steps to resolve this issue? We're paying for GIG internet and the service is starting to become unreliable, and I would like to get the quality we are paying for.
