Random disconnects happening everyday

Comcast internet keeps disconnecting randomly multiple times a day. When it happens entire internet goes. The disconnect also makes it unable to do anything at all. Resetting modem doesn't fix problem as the disconnects are still happening. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. 30-50. TIMES. A. DAY.

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please copy all of the text in its entirety of the *Downstream Power Levels*, the *SNR's* (Signal to Noise Ratios), and the *Upstream Power Level* numbers and paste them into your next post.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem / gateway device ?

Is this a WiFi connection ?

That is extremely strange! I would like to take a look at the device diagnostics and see what would be causing this hiccup. Greatly appreciate you taking the time to get us in the loop on this situation!

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Disable power management on your network card with device manager. I had the same problem. Fixed it simple as that.

Happens at my place too. 3 techs, new line from power pole, new wiring, latest and greatest modem/router and continues to drop. They aren’t telling us the whole truth about their service abilities at this point. We see xfinity trucks in our area working on poles yet they claim everything looks good and now outages in our area. We finally had no choice but to switch service providers.

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 6-month-old dead thread is now being closed.

For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on an old thread can delay getting help.
