Rainbird runs on 2.4 only?
I have a rainbird sprinkler system and I read that it runs only on 2.4 but I have 5G modem just installed. How do I make it two lanes or should the rainbird be expected to connect?

If it's an Xfinity rented gateway device, here are instructions for separating the two bands. Be advised that I'm not sure that this even works anymore... YMMV. Good luck !

Associate the Rainbird with the new 2.4 SSID (broadcast name) and password.

Quite welcome ! Many devices have trouble with or can't connect at all to combined bands (SSID's). Good luck !
