Question

Why is it that Xfinity is one of the largest companies, charge a fortune for service but for the third time internet is out? Got college student needing to be online for class, work to turn in and a test. All anyone is given is like $5.00 credit for the inconvenience. How about they contact the professors and tell them that. Oh it just really makes me mad.

First. Check here for info about any possible wide-area outages;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

Hey there user_j0beng. I appreciate you coming to our community with your recent experience, and as someone who's also going to school completely online, I know exactly how frustrating it is to be without the internet when I need it most. We never ever want to leave you in a bind like that, so if there is anything else we can do to help, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Additionally, should you ever need to be kept in the know about service interruptions in your area, please check out xfinity.com/support/statusmap
