Hi! I use an Arris SB8200v3 DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem and 98% of the time, everything works perfectly. The internet service is fast, reliable and stable. That is, until it isn't. :) Periodically, the cable modem will lose the connection and will reconnect. Some days, this doesn't happen and on other days, it can happen 3 or 4 times in the span of a few hours. Before I replace the cable modem, I wanted to see if the current operating parameters look acceptable:

This all started after a couple of things:
*) A power outage "zapped" my old cable modem and it just wouldn't get reconnected after the power came back. So, I purchased the Arris.
*) Comcast was doing some maintenance, in my area, to improve the quality of internet service.
When I conduct a test of my internet service from the XFinity internet usage page, everything checks out fine.
Given the information I posted above, would it be worth replacing the cable modem? The Arris modem I'm using now was purchased in February or March of this year.

Hello again! So, around 7:30am PDT this morning (April 26, 2025), I checked the cable modem (the Arris) and the stats look much different:

I presume the 0 'Uncorrectables' is a good thing, but I'm not sure. Anyway, from what I posted in this thread, should I still consider replacing my cable modem?
