Public IP Address
Hey there, my public IP address is not recycling, I’ve had the same IP address since early January and the Xfinity app notified me of, “3 IP Reputation Attacks,” on the network.
My concern is, the public IP, it must recycle when the gateway is left offline for over 2 hours or it should recycle every few days.

Their public IP's are known as being sticky dynamic, so they don't change very often. I've had the same IP for years at a time. They are tied to the MAC address of the LAN client that their DHCP server sees. Does your router have a MAC address cloning feature ? If so, try cloning a different MAC address into it. This will force a change of your public IP addy assignment.
