Ps5 network unstable with no known fix

The ps5 is connected via wireless connection through XFinity supplied gateway. Tests run at about 40 mbps download, and 20 mbps upload. While using Playstation's game streaming, the game lags tremendously before crashing. Every other device works great. Restarting the ps5 and the gateway did not work. Advice that the xfinity assistant gave did not work. The official PSN network website says that there are no issues. I'm at a total loss. I just updated my gateway, which was reccomended by Xfinity. Everything seems to be activated.
