Provided connection speed. XB7

Question.

I have an XB7 modem router that I have in bridge mode in order to use my Netgear RAX70 tri band router that has better range.

I logged onto to the XB7 10.0.0.1 network and checked the lan port settings under hardware.  With bridge mode the first three lan ports are inactive.  The  fourth 2.5 g lan port is active.  It shows a connection speed of 1,000 mbps.

My current plan is supposed to provide me with a connection speed of 1,200 mbps.  Is the 1,000 mbps connection speed incorrect?  Do I need to contact Comcast to provision my modem for 1,200 mbps?

If so, how do I do that?

My current speed is okay, but if I am paying for 1,200 mbps, I would like to be supplied that amount.

Thanks in advance.

I had to take my modem out of bridge mode. Once I did that Comcast was able to confirm I was provisioned 1,200 mbps.

I think my router needs to use ethernet port aggregation in order to obtain multi gig speed.  I do not think I can get that to work when in Bridge mode because only one port is active in bridge mode.  That is why my connection speed on Lanport 4 shows 1,000 mbps. That is the maximum connection for my personal router when not using aggregation.

I might experiment trying to get it to work with bridge mode disabled, but I am not sure if the XB7 supports aggregation.
However my main question regarding provisioned speed was answered.
Thanks.

@surge Thank you for letting us know your initial service request was resolved. I located a related topic, to help with your router, connection. I believe this is what you are looking for.

I no longer work for Comcast.
