pro wifi extender

I added xifinity pro in order to extend the wifi network from the back of the house to the front.  I have activated the pro wifi extender, but it does not appear to be repeating/extending the network as I lose connection within a few feet of the device despite.  Not devices are ever shown as connecting to the extender.

To troubleshoot the Xfinity Pro WiFi Extender, use the Xfinity app: go to **WiFi tab > View WiFi equipment > Pro WiFi Extender > Troubleshoot Device**. For low WiFi signal, move the extender closer to the Xfinity Gateway and near a window for better cellular signal. If the Battery Backup isn't fully charged after 24 hours, check the wiring. If the Battery Backup light blinks for over 30 minutes, reset the device by holding the reset button for 10 seconds.

Good luck if you need extender pods. I absolutely do and it has been horrible trying to actually have the company stand by what they promise explicitly in their advertising. After months of asking, I was finally sent pods, but they charged me for them even though they are explicitly spelled out as provided if needed. Now I have to have a 2nd home visit for them to tell me I have dead spots in my house which I already told them I have months ago.
