privacy
I received and Email from Xfinity, stating: "At Xfinity, we’re committed to protecting your privacy and helping to keep your personal information safe and secure." But when I read the privacy policy, it states that my personal information will be used to: "...deliver personalized consumer experiences (including marketing and advertising for our own and others’ products and services),...".
If Xfinity is COMMITTED TO PROTECTING MY PRIVACY, as the first sentence of their email states; then my personal information will not be used for marketing and advertising! FULL STOP.
Xfinity, you are lying to my face! Change your policies to be inline with your proclamations. I will follow through with a report of false advertising to the state.

xfinity, like any other business, can use yuor information internally for their purposes. You can limit *SOME* of what they can do with it, but you are using *THEIR* service, and they are allowed to use your connection to make improvement. BTW, if you think you have privacy online, even with a VPN, then you clearly haven't been paying attention. Your information is traded all over the world...from your address, your email address, etc, and not from xfinity, but from every website you visit. Even worse is when you unsubscribe from an email...you will be unsubbed, but your information will be sold and traded to make up for the loss of your placeholder in the list.

I don't think I have privacy.
My issue here is that I am being lied to.
Just don't boldly lie to your customers.
