privacy warning
I received a privacy warning after the last iOS update. My husband also has the same privacy warning on his iPhone. I clicked on the explanation and the recommended setting is WPA3. Our router is listed as WPA2 on the Gateway. I cannot change it as it's grayed out. I haven't had this security warning for a couple years after an iPhone update. I went looking on my Xfinity app and found that settings are now being managed automatically for me. Coincidentally we had a 5 hour outage last night. When I called Xfinity for tech support I heard a recording that said maintenance is being done in my area. My iPad and my MacBook Pro have no warning when I click on the network name so apple engineers must have done something for security reasons. They often do needless things but I'd like to not see the security warning when I click on the inspector symbol for my networks. I know if I call apple for support I'll be told to change from WPA2 to WPA3. What now? Any help from a tech or someone informed would be appreciated.
