Port Forwarding

I have set up port forwarding through the Xfinity app, which lists the ports I want open, but they remain closed when I check. I have read through countless posts from people with the same issue and gone through all the step-by-step tutorials I could find, yet nothing seems to fix this issue. I reached out to support, and although they were nice, they could only guide me on how to use the app. The app is easy enough to use, and my ability to use it is not the issue. The issue is that ports are not opening, despite being listed as open in the Xfinity app.
