port forwarding wrong ip

Hi, I have seen this asked before but not really resolved. So I set up port forwarding for a PC that I use for my camera system. The forwarding stopped working and I now see that the IP address that I set that ends in .54 shows in the Xfinity app  saying  reserved ip address ends in .53 so it does not match and it does not work, Calling Xfinity yielded NO help.  HELP?  Thanks, Adam

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_ld2yf6. I will be happy to look into any issue from here with that port forwarding. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

I know this is late, but for anyone that does stumble across this:
My workaround for was to set the IPV4 address manually, and dissalow the IPV6 address so as not to cause issues. Not sure if it was actually necessary, but it worked for me. I had a device on port .55 that would only forward on the app through .115, so i changed the ipv4 address to .115, refreshed my xfinity app, and i was able to leave the port forward in place on .115 and have it work for my computer
