Port Forwarding stopped working on new xfinity modem
I recently upgraded my modem to the Technicolor CGM4331COM. Before upgrading I was able to remotely connect to my desktop pc using the port forwarding feature in the XFI. However after replacing the the modem and ensuring that the portforwarding is still active, the port is not active and I can not remotely connect. I talked with technical support for about 2 hours and their solution was it is an issue with my computer which is not the case.
Troubleshooting steps completed:
Port forward remove and added
Modem restarted
Desktop restarted
IP address verified
Port checked through https://www.canyouseeme.org/
Tested through different computer
Disabled Advanced Security
Completed full factory reset
I have searched the internet for solutions to this issue but I have not found any solutions that work for me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try disabling the Xfi Advanced Security feature as a work-around for now and see. It's buggy ! YMMV.

I should have mentioned that it was disabled before I got to new modem and is disabled now. To make sure I turned Advanced Security on then back off again and no results.
