Poor Internet and Customer Service

I'm paying for 1200 mbps and with the speed tests they're scoring lower then 400 mbps, speeds are very slow and the speed has been horrendously slow as it's making it very challenging to work from home, watch tv, play games, download and upload files.

I also try to call comcast support to help and they kept on constantly trying to subscribe ($100+) me to a support tech service outside of comcast and I've been begging them to get someone to diagnose my internet to see why I'm receiving such poor quality service and speed. The AI chat is a joke and feels very fake and inauthentic to me.

For crying out loud, can someone provide me help??????

Hello, @user_h98sln! We are happy to help with your internet speed and are able to stay with you over time to ensure this is resolved. What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far such as checking the connections to the modem or resetting it?

Every single direction provided by comcast, comcast support ai chat, and my own personal tests such as disconnecting, turning off and on, plugging in my laptop directly, etc. Even with directly plugged in with speed test and connection speed reading is show under 400 mbps.

In terms of resetting, IT world has many different definitions for it. Please specify and also please is there anyone from Comcast that can tell me why I'm not getting what I'm paying for? These are brand new cables in a new development as well, so I'm surprised I experience latency issues.

What happened to speaking to real people over the phone these days? Why provide a service when there is no physical person to speak to of the situation?
