Pods Overheating

I have the same problem. Is xfinity doing anything to address pods overheating?

Hey there, @user_06a180! Thanks for bringing your xFi Pod concern with overheating to the community for assistance. That's definitely something I'd like to look into for you! At this time, are you having any issues with the Internet service itself? Or have you noticed adverse effects caused by the pods' temperature by chance? The more details we have about your specific issue, the better we can assist! Thanks in advance for whatever you're able to share.

@XfinitySara​ I have had internet issues in the past but I can't say for certain if they were associated with the overheating Pods. I just noticed the scorch marks above the Pods last week but the marks could have been there longer.

I noticed some of mine get really hot.  And I believe I too saw "scorch" marks.   I am going to monitor them and see if the same ones get hot or if they change.  May the heat is based on how many devices connect to that pod.  I did have an issue where they all fell off and took a longer amount of time to get reconnected.  A few I had to unplug\replug a few times.
I just recently replace my modem and with the new modem they connected right up like normal.  Maybe the modem played a part with their heat.  All of this is just conjecture.  But it seems I am not alone with the heat and scorching :)

Oh my wifi speeds seem to be just fine on the two bands.
