Please add guest AP to Xfinity gateway

I recently added XFi complete package and used Xfinity gateway for a few days, but I lost my guest network, and all IoT devices, thermalstats, EV charger, smart lamps cannot connect to 2.4G network. Even printer won't connect. I used to have printer connected to main 2.4G and IoTs connected to guest AP. I had to set gateway to bridge mode and use my own router again.

The Xfinity gateway wifi range is very good indeed, but no guest AP is a big deal to me. Those devices cannot use xfinitywifi AP. Please add guest AP.

Good evening @Roy2001, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums with your concerns adding guest AP to your gateway, we appreciate it. May I ask what model gateway you are currently using? If you are unsure, you can reference our website here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/broadband-gateways-userguides

Roy2001 Thank you for getting back to us here. The hotspot with a network name of xfinitywifi is intended to act as a guest network. If the hotspot doesn't work for your neeeds, I would recommend enabling Bridge Mode on your Xfinity gateway and using a separate router that allows you to set up a Guest AP.
