Planned Outage the day after Christmas?!?!?!

Are you serious? Right after everyone gets new consoles, computers, games, devices, etc... Comcast plans an outage??? Who could possibly think this is a good idea and shows that they are considering the customer's needs? Oh wait, my area is finally getting a competing fiber company. Maybe it isn't about customer needs.... 

Change your outage date please!  This is insane to take the largest "I'm going to use my new device or play my new game" day and shut it down for an outage. 

Please delay this outage a week. This is nuts.

I never like experiencing interruptions on a holiday when at home with my family so I understand the inconvenience that this can cause you. I apologize for the inconvenience that this can cause you. We can help. Planned interruptions are normally done early in the AM. What time is the planned outage for your location?

@XfinityGabriel​ It doesn't give a time. It just says the day. Please just delay this. I don't understand why Comcast would be pushing network updates like this the day after Christmas.

We do not have the option to delay planned interruptions, unfortunately. Believe me, @Salamank  if we could, we would do it in a heartbeat. However, I would like to see if I can find more details on the planned outage and what is going on. To get started, would you mind sending a direct message with your first/last name and full address? You can start by clicking the "direct message" icon on the upper right page of the forum page. Once you click on that, input our shared handle "Xfinity Support" to send us a direct message. If you're signed in to your forums profile and because you have already posted to the public page, you should have the option to do so.
