Ping issues

“We’re using an Xfinity Gateway with a wired Ethernet connection. We recently moved, and since then the ping in online games (Valorant, Rocket League, CS2) has been spiking from around 50 ms to over 300 ms. We’ve tested two different PCs, so we don’t think it’s the computers. Can you check the line for signal issues, packet loss, and replace the gateway if needed?”

user_oj2uvy Thanks for reaching out to us about your concern with Ping since your recent move. I can certainly understand that being a concern when gaming online as I do so as well. You have come to the right place for help with finding the issue. Since the problem began have you ran through any trouble shooting in the Xfinity app to see if it could find any concerns that would need addressed?
