Ping issues

“We’re using an Xfinity Gateway with a wired Ethernet connection. We recently moved, and since then the ping in online games (Valorant, Rocket League, CS2) has been spiking from around 50 ms to over 300 ms. We’ve tested two different PCs, so we don’t think it’s the computers. Can you check the line for signal issues, packet loss, and replace the gateway if needed?”
