Phone calls interrupt my wired internet

I briefly searched but came up empty. This is not a wireless interference issue.

I have Xfinity preferred with gigabit speed and Xfinity voice. My modem has the router portion turned off and I am using a ASUS Rapture GT-AX11000 Tri-Band 10 Gigabit WiFi Router.

When I am playing my xBox hardwired to the router, if I get a call and if someone answers (person or answering machine), whenever they hang up the phone, my xbox game gets disconnected.

I have to quit the current game session (COD BO4) and start a new one. No reboots or anything required. It also affects my kids playing other online games on their computers wirelessly.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes...same issue using magic jack for phone.  When phone rings interrupts my internet WiFi...even though I put magic jack connection on its on switch, separate from the router but switch is plugged in a jack of the router.  Not sure why it happens but is annoying.  Any suggestions  would be appreciated.

Hey @Am3bulldog thank you for reaching out about this connectivity issue. Are you also experiencing this disconnect with any other device or only the Magic Jack?

@xedious Are you still experiencing this issue?
