Peer to peer connection

I am having difficulty setting up one of my new devices because it is saying that my network does not support peer to peer connections. Actually the exact error message says “HomePod features like AirPlay and personal requests may not work on on your network because it does not support peer-to-peer connections.” … what can I do to solve this issue?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

-Click "Sign In" if necessary

-Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

-Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

-The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.

How was this issue resolved? I have the exact same problem with my HomePods. They will not act as a stereo pair because they cannot peer to peer  network.

@user_b5547d thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums. Are you getting the same error message “HomePod features like AirPlay and personal requests may not work on your network because it does not support peer-to-peer connections.”  or something a bit different? If so, please update all MacOS and iOs devices, I rebooted my Xfinity gateway. This will help.
