Pc only getting AT MAX 4mbps

my plan is 400mbps, I tested the speed on my pc on 3 different sites including Xfinity speed test which was the worst only getting 0.4 mbps.

my phone is getting 300+ so everything but my pc is getting its share I’ve tried pretty much everything updating drivers, wireless, tampering with settings etc but nothing has helped in the slightest

Hello @user_2c29fb , thank you for taking the time to reach out to our great team through Forums. We certainly understand the importance of having propers speeds with our internet. I appreciate your patience with our response. I'm glad to hear all other devices besides your PC are working properly. In regard to your PC, you are using an Ethernet cable is that correct? Have you replaced the Ethernet cable to test? What does your set look like?

I’m trying a Wi-Fi extender after more trial and error I’m thinking it’s a dead spot so I’ll be seeing if this works before I respond

@user_2c29fb Will you be checking this option out today? To confirm, you are connecting your PC wirelessly, and not by Ethernet cable is that correct? Does the WiFi extender you have give you option of connecting by Ethernet cable?

@XfinityBrianW before I was using a powerline adapter on my pc I’ve also tried wireless but that wasn’t much better maxing out at 10mbps. I just set up the Wi-Fi extender it’s working much better now I had to spend but it worked I’m getting 100+ mbps now
