Parental Managed Sites Don't Work

I have the xfi gateway and no matter what keywords or sites I program into the parental managed sites, none of them block the access while testing.  This seems like an issue posted a lot, is this outstanding?

@user_person Thanks for posting on our Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble setting up the parental controls. Are you using the steps outline from our website (Parental Controls for the Internet)?

Yes.  I have followed the directions and implemented according to what it says with keywords and sites with all devices participating and it doesn't block traffic to any of the keywords or sites I configured.

Hi there, @user_person I'm very sorry for the trouble you are experiencing with your parental controls.  I understand the importance of having parental controls set up and working, and would be happy to see how we can help. How are you setting up the parental controls? Are you using the Xfinty App, or the admin tool?-Richard

I am logging into the gateway via 10.0.0.1 and setting up the parental settings through this interface

Thank you for confirming, are you using one of our Xfinity rented modems? If so you may want to use the Xfinity app. This page provides directions using the Xfinity app. Xfi customize network help and manage profiles will help as well.

I did what was mentioned using the app and tested it with a phone by having a profile. Is there a way to add additional sites/phrases that parent protection isn't catching?
