packet loss

* EDIT*  As of August 10th, 6:45AM, up to 36% packet loss.

Maryland, at least in the 21703 area code some where.

I have confirmed with other IT pros in the area, and all of us started experiencing packet loss at the same time.  I do see some maintenance coming up on the 12th?  But everything was working fine before the previous maintenance so not sure what changed. Did want to make you aware of it as maybe something else malicious could be going on?  Will hold off calling or complaining until after the 12th's maintenance window.. I am adding a graphic showing the degradation time frame start (and you can see where I did local Troubleshooting on my network before hand). Thanks.

I know many changes have happened this year in our area. TBH after first changes in march everything was working very well until these last few that were just made?  I have also seen multiple areas in our neighborhood having the tops removed from the ground covering? and nothing that looked like it was being done by your techs.  Thank you for the time.

Good afternoon @user_prv6tq, and thanks for reporting your packet loss issue. I can take a look to see if I can pinpoint any issues on my side. When you can, send us a direct message with your full name and address.

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it
