Owlet Cam

I have multiple smart devides in my home all connect to the xFi Gateway just fine. I recently tried to install an Owlet Cam for our baby's room and it wont connect. After talking to the people at owlet it seems that they require me to turn off the N band of the 2.4 ghz network to establish a connection. Is this posible? Has anyone else had this problem connecing an Owlet Cam to the xFi gateway?
