Outages multiple times a day
I have used this service for 20 years without issue. Three months ago, my Internet connection started dropping multiple times per day. It's only out for a minute, but unfortunately, it often happens when I'm in a virtual meeting for work. So I have to wait a minute for service to return, then I have to reconnect to the VPN, then I have to rejoin the meeting. I contacted Xfinity, and they said my router was outdated. A technician came by and replaced the router. But I still have multiple outages per day. So the problem doesn't seem to be tied to my equipment. I'm wondering if the problem is in my apartment building, or somewhere in my city?
This service is no longer reliable enough for me to use to work from home. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment building, so I don't have a lot of other options.
The virtual assistant has me on a loop and doesn't answer specific questions about my situation. The phone line sends me a link to the virtual assistant and hangs up. I have scheduled an appointment at my local store this Sunday, because that's the only way I can talk to a real person about my situation.
Has anyone experienced this? If so, what worked?

First. When these outages occur, are they being officially indicated with any info about them here ?;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.
Or you can use the Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps

Are you telling me to ask my neighbors for their WiFi password? Wow. LOL
If I get dropped from a Teams meeting because my cable went out, I can switch to a phone hot spot, but I still disappear from the meeting for 3 minutes while I switch and then reconnect to the VPN and rejoin the meeting.
a much better strategy is to have reliable service that doesn’t drop without explanation multiple times a day. I need to find a service provider that makes that a priority.
