Outage on Cape Cod
I live in Eastham on Cape Cod. We just got our electricity back four days after the recent blizzard, but over 2,000 users in my area still have no Internet. Chat refuses to connect me with a live assistant until the outage is resolved and I’ve not been successful reaching anyone by phone. Unlike Eversource, which provided its customers with detailed, daily updates about what they were doing to resolve the electricity issues, Comcast has not kept its customers informed except for the canned notification about their being an outage and it was being “investigated” and would be resolved “as soon as possible”. We work from home and so rely heavily on the internet and we are now going into day 5 of having to use a weak cell phone signal, with no real time indication of when the outage will be resolved and what is actually being done to resolve it. It is supremely frustrating and we are on the verge of looking at a provider like Starlink at this point. If anyone reading has any insight into what else we could do to get real time information, or if a representative monitoring this forum could help, that would be appreciated.
