Outage In Work from Home environment

This is ridiculous I work from home and this is not the first time I've experienced random outages before I can even clock in! Last year, it was Shawty connections that disconnected my calls at random times while working! I understand that there's rain, I understand that there's construction, but why can't Xfinity just get it together shouldn't there be a back up for this type of stuff. I'm strongly considering changing my Internet provider.
