order a new modem - ARRIS SURFboard SB6183 - to upgrade current old modem
Hi Xfinity Support,
I experienced many times of service disruption recently. I had to reboot my modem to resolve the issues. To better address the issues, I’ve ordered a new modem - ARRIS SURFboard SB6183. Can you please let me know
- Will the new modem work with Xfinity?
- What are the detailed steps to swap my current modem with the new modem?
I appreciate your quick response on this.

@user_cac38c If there is a signal problem it will still be there no matter what modem. What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1
