Orange blinking light

Our modem has an orange flashing light and our Internet stopped working. Just happened randomly. There's no outage and the Xfinity app had me check all connections and unplug the modem. Nothing worked. Super bowl is tomorrow and we steam for tv. Supposedly the soonest a tech can come out is Wed late afternoon. Anything else we can try so we don't have to wait 4 days to get it fixed?

user_087d07 Thank you for coming to our Xfinity community forums for help. A flashing light of any color with our Xfi gateways means they are not able to connect. The orange one is common during an interruption but is not always the case since it just indicates it is not able to connect to the network. This would mean your modem is also offline and we would have very limited troubleshooting options to help. If you have not already done so I would recommend unplugging the modem for a few moments from the power and plugging it back in to see if you can reconnect. If not a tech would most definitely be needed.
