Opening UDP Ports

I have a T-Mobile cellular signal booster that apparently requires UDP Ports 123, 500 and 4500 to be open in order that the device can connect to the internet. As someone who is not particularly knowledgeable in the field of networking, the suggestions available online are confusing and assume advanced knowledge that I do not possess. Plus, there is some information suggesting that Xfinity has blocked such changes for home users.

Getting in touch with an actual human employee of Xfinity would be my first choice, but they don't make it easy.

Any suggestions will be welcome.

... requires UDP Ports 123, 500 and 4500 to be open ...

Comcast doesn't block those. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/list-of-blocked-ports.

Thanks very much for responding and sharing the Xfinity blocked ports list.

When I open up a command window and run Netstat -a, I see the following display for the relevant ports. Other ports in the list (not shown) have lots more detail on each line. How can I interpret this display?

Netstat -a Displays all active connections and the TCP and UDP ports on which the computer is listening. Check out this wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netstat that covers the command-line parameters.

Hello @Anon837417 this is a little outside our scope but this article https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/list-of-blocked-ports will cover the list of ports that are blocked by Xfinity.
