Online Gaming Lag Spikes

So a little while ago when I first went to Xfinity to get my Home Internet for gaming. I had no problems, no lag spikes but as of 2019-2021. All thing games I have played, received a lot of lag spikes on Xbox. I have it next the router a few ft away from my Xbox. Could there be a signal problem, I used to not get lag spikes but as of now, I get a lot of them especially on Games like Dead By Daylight and Overwatch
