Ongoing Internet Disruptions -- Node Upgrade Not Done
Hi,
I'm trying to get an update from someone who can tell. I used to be in direct contact with the Xfinity area supervisor, but I am no longer getting replies.
The ongoing saga is well documented in previous messages, such as https://www.reddit.com/r/Comcast_Xfinity/comments/1qn0s2u/checking_in_on_packet_loss_ongoing_saga/
This issue remains ongoing, and has done so for very quickly approaching 6 years now.
The last updates I had was the upgrade was scheduled for February, which came and went. I then got a phone call from the area supervisor who advised it had been pushed back to July. Something about permitting or something... not completely sure. It's now August, and the issue remains.
What I know is the underlying problem is a node capacity issue. When I'm having the high latency/packet loss/complete disconnections, we've been able to quick a quick snapshot and know that there is insufficient capacity in the area. This is not an unknown problem. Any way we can get a new report down to the support people so I can get in contact with the new area supervisor and find out what's going on?
