One coarx line 2 separate xfinity accounts and gateways

Hi! I have a question about setting up internet service. There are two people in the same house who each want their own separate Xfinity internet account and gateway. However, there is only one coaxial cable outlet in the house, and both gateways would need to be in the same room.

Would it be possible to activate both accounts using a two-way coaxial splitter connected to the existing coaxial line? Or would a technician need to install a separate line or make other changes to the wiring?

I want to make sure both services will work before purchasing any equipment. Thank you!
